Glass Tile Bathroom – Glass tile is one of the facing surfaces that you can put in your bathroom, and it is surprisingly durable once it is installed. Because it is water resistant, it can be used for any surface in your bathroom, including the walls of the shower. If you go to the floor, you must throw the toilet and any other accessories that will move. Plan to be without using the bathroom for a few days, as the grout will need to fix and seal before exposing it to moisture.
Install the cement backing board everywhere you want to tile. Use 5/8 of an inch for the 1/4 inch board for walls and floors. Lay the lines for your tiles from the center of each zone (floor or wall). Divide the area into four sections. This will ensure that any cut of tiles to be made at the edges will be the same on both sides.

Spread thin-bed mortar in a split section with the notched trowel, by starting at the corner. Adjust the next tiles in place, working out of the first one and keep them along the lines. Go again and install all the chips in the same way. Mix your grout with water in the bucket, according to the instructions. Let it stand for 10 minutes, then mix again and apply it to the tiles. Leave the grout fixed for two days, then apply a transparent grout sealer, impervious to the grout lines.
