Grouting floor tile – Tile floors are quite resistant to the large amount of hard traffic, but the grout that holds them together cannot be so well made. Grout is easily scored when heavy objects are dropped on it. In wet areas, such as kitchen grout can be weakened by moisture. Grout joins the chips together and prevents leaks from entering the subsoil. If the grout is weakened, there is a risk of ruining its subsoil and the other parts with it.
Draw a sample of your grout from the floor and take it to your local hardware store. Ask them if they can match the color. Most hardware stores will provide this service for free. Pry out the old grout using a knife so that the new grout will adhere properly. Vacuum the dust from the nozzle out of the area to avoid contamination of the new grout.
